IIC Technologies Delivers S-100/S-101 Production Training in Kuwait

IIC Technologies recently delivered an S-100/S-101 Production Course in Kuwait, supporting the ongoing global transition toward the S-100 framework.

International participation and collaborative learning

The nine-day program brought together an international cohort of participants from four countries and instructors from three, creating a collaborative learning environment with strong technical discussion, shared operational experience, and peer learning.

Comprehensive coverage of S-100 and S-101 workflows

The course covered a wide range of technical topics, including S-100 fundamentals, S-101 simple and complex conversion workflows, reverse conversion, and operation of the Dual-Fuel System. Participants also explored several Phase 1 S-100 products, including S-102 Dense Bathymetry, S-104 Water Levels, S-111 Surface Currents, S-124 Navigational Warnings, and S-129 Under Keel Clearance, along with an introduction to selected Phase 2 products.

Additional sessions focused on digital signatures and the creation, validation, and management of S-101 Exchange Sets, providing participants with practical insight into data security and distribution requirements.

Applying knowledge through transition planning

To conclude the program, participants worked in groups to develop and present transition plans for adopting S-100 products within their organizations, demonstrating a strong understanding of both technical concepts and their real-world application.
