IIC S-5B Hydrographic Surveyors Program Commences

IIC Technologies and Deakin University are very pleased to have commenced the IIC Academy S-5B Hydrographic Surveyors Programme on 6 September 2021 with an online opening ceremony spanning 7 time zones. 

This is the first time an S-5B Program has been offered to the public in Australasia, and this delivery has attracted students from across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA.

The commencement of this Program sees several Firsts!

• The IIC Program is the first to be recognised for Global Delivery, allowing the larger portion of the content to be delivered via Distance Learning.
• This is the first time that IIC have partnered with a university for delivery of one of its S-5B courses.
• It is the first time that IIC has delivered its S-5B Programme to the public (all of its regular deliveries have been specifically for its Hydrographic Office clients).
• This is the first time an S-5B Program has ever been offered to the public in Australasia

This Program precedes the first ever deliver to the public of the IIC Academy S-8B Nautical Cartographers Course scheduled for commencement in October 2021.
