
IIC Presentation captured in NZ Surveying & Spatial Magazine

IIC attended the World Hydro Day Conference in Auckland New Zealand. This combined activity drew participants from the Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS), Surveying and Spatial New Zealand (S&S NZ), and the broader community. Of greatest significance was the number of students in attendance, primarily sponsored by the standing AHS and S&S NZ members who are keen to invest in the community’s future.
IIC representative Mr David Crossman presented an interesting and light-hearted talk on the IIC multi-disciplinary survey in Kiribati. This included the benefits to the community, but had a focus on the real work hurdles in undertaking this sort of extremely remote and challenging survey.
